Hell High
Obviously metaphores were the main idea in the reading. The different horror creatures represent various social groups seen in any given high school. It's kind of interesting how the writer viewed different groups. In Buffy the Vamp Slayer, Buffy is a small girl that destroys vampires, which is unexpected. Basically you just need to keep your mind open, and don't make early judgements.

I agree with you about keeping your mind open and not to make early judgements. I thought Buffy was for weird people and after I watched it my mind changed because I really liked it.
ReplyDeleteYea I got the same impression from the reading as well. It really makes a lot of these shows more interesting knowing that there are metaphors in it.

ReplyDeleteThe Buffy tv series does a great job of finding ways how to incorporate metaphors into every episode and finding a way to relate them to their target audience.
